Passiflora foetida, 'Corona de Cristo' Passionflower

A fast-growing vine with pale pink/white blossoms that are interesting and intricate. The genus Passiflora was named in honor of the many correlating flower parts to the Biblical accounting of the "passion of the Christ." A larval host for the Gulf Fritillary butterfly (Agraulis vanillae). Edible fruit and leaves favored by birds. Give plenty of space, moderate water to establish, and then back off in subsequent seasons.
