Phyla nodiflora, Texas Frogfruit

A very tough groundcover with tiny white flowers. Semi-evergreen and tolerant of flooding and drought. An excellent substiture for a lawn conversion, as it will tolerate light traffic, grows quickly, and stays "pinned" to the ground. Larval host for several butterflies. Great as a cascading species or for a hanging pot. Can handle a wide range of sun exposures and soil types.
