A Mexican native sage with a groundcover habit, staying around 1' tall and spreading to roughly 16". Herbaceous, with bronze-red leaves that are serrated, and regular flushes of blue and white flowers with a black calyx. Very pretty and useful in tight spaces in part to full sun. In mild winters, cut back any top growth for lush growth in Spring. Pair with other herbaceous Salvias such as Cedar Sage or Big Red Sage for a delightful hummingbird refuge.
