Muhlenbergia capillaris, White Cloud Muhly

An elegant and airy cultivar of Gulf Coast Muhly (Muhlenbergia capillaris) that erupts in a frothy white "cloud" of tiny seedheads in early fall. Likes good garden conditions to start, but becomes less reliant on irrigation after 2-3 years. Pair with cool-colered ground-huggers like Wooly Stemodia (Stemodia tomentosa) or Silver Ponyfoot (Dichondra argentea) for a shimmering, luminescent look--even at night! A true "belle of the ball" when added to a sunny garden!
