Chitalpa tashkentensis 'Morning Cloud'

Non native hybrid tree between out native Desert Willow and Northern Catalpa. Extremely fast-growing to 20' and similar spread. The white flowers with pink throats are irresistible to many insects, hummingbirds and butterflies. Water to establish for one season, then this tree requires infrequent deep irrigation. May require staking if a "lollipop" form is desired, but will otherwise look like a sturdy Desert Willow. Deciduous.
