Ipomopsis rubra, Standing Cypress

A stunning native biennniel that is easy to grow, and will likely reseed. Popular with Hummingbirds as the red, spotted flowers are nectar-rich. Does great in garden conditions, or with a bit of neglect. Make sure that you plan for a tall bloomspike; it can reach 5' in a hurry!
