Magnolia grandiflora, 'Little Gem', Little Gem Magnolia

A dwarf cultivar of the classic Southern Magnolia. A columnar, evergreen large shrub/small tree that can attain a height of 22' and width of 8'. Drought tolerant once established, but deep, infrequent watering during droughty times may be necessary. Prefers good garden soil, replete with compost and topped with mulch. A great privacy screen that blooms throughout the summer and fall.
